What are your opening and closing hours?

We are open from 8:30 to 16:30 Monday to Friday and we try to accommodate all our patients with an appointment within 2-3 days.

How often should I have my ears tested?

You should have your hearing tested on an annual basis.

How do I book an appointment?

Simply give us a call on 011 447 2448 and make a booking with our receptionist.

Do I need to come early for my appointment?

If it is your first appointment with us, please arrive approximately 10-15 minutes before your appointment to complete necessary forms. Please bring along your medical aid card and a form of I.D


Will the testing be painful?

No, the hearing tests are not painful in any way.

Can you test any age?

Yes, we can test from as young as a new born baby to the elderly patient.

How long does the appointment take?

Approximately 1 hour.

Can you give me a discount?

Unfortunately we do not offer discounts.


Do I need to pay for my appointment OR can you claim from my medical aid?

You will be expected to pay upfront after your appointment with the audiologist. We accept both cash and cards. You are then welcome to submit a claim to your medical aid.

Do you charge medical aid rates?

Yes, however please note that we expect you to pay for your appointment after each consultation and claim from your medical aid yourself.

If I am late, will you still honor my appointment?

If you are more than 15 minutes we unfortunately won’t be able to see you as this would impact on the appointment that runs after yours. You would need to reschedule and possibly face being charged for the appointment that you missed.

Can I cancel my appointment?

Yes, please make sure you cancel a full 24 hours before your appointment or you could be charged.


How much do hearing aids cost?

Hearing aid prices vary according to the level of technology from entry and mid to top of the range. The Audiologist will contact your medical aid and work within your budget and needs.

Will the medical aids cover my hearing aids in full?

This will depend on your medical aid and the plan you are on.

Can I trial hearing aids first?

Yes, we offer a 2 week no obligation trial period. You will be fully responsible for the hearing aids for the duration of their trial.

If I have a hearing loss do I have to take hearing aids?

Even if we strongly recommended hearing aids, at the end of the day the choice is up to you.
